The Journal Customs Policy of Russia in the Far East publishes scholarly and scientific articles, discussion papers and review articles which are focused on topics such as educational issues in Customs, Customs activities in the Far East, customs law, foreign economic activities and international relations, history of the Customs Service, as well as Far Eastern Customs Administration’s overviews.

The journal is of interest to researchers, academics, post-graduate students, specialists in customs affairs, economists, lawyers, historians, and participants of foreign economic activities.

The journal founded in 1997 is registered in the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (registration number №  PI № TU25-00621 of 29.05.2018), issued quarterly. Since 2013 Customs Policy of Russia in the Far East is a participant of the Russian Science Citation Index project (RSCI) and indexed in the Scientific Electronic Library database (elibrary.ru).

The journal Customs Policy of Russia in the Far East is a peer-reviewed journal. The editorial board reserves the right to aprove or reject any paper. No payment is provided for the authors of the articles. The editorial policy is based on traditional ethic guidelines of scholarly publishing which are developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics – COPE for editors, peer reviewers and authors. In its work, the editorial team is guided by the principals of scientific development, professionalism, being open-mined and unbiased.

The Journal Customs Policy of Russia in the Far East has as its goal to make the topical issues of customs area a point of fundamental and applied science and create a possibility of sharing the results of fundamental and applied research in this area.

The journal aims at

  • developing communication within the scholarly community and building up the platform for open debates which contribute to enhancing the quality of scholarly works;
  • building bridges between science and practice, seeking opportunities to apply the results of research studies.
